Physiotherapy

Our highly trained musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapists specialise in treating and managing conditions relating to the soft tissues, joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons, nerves and connective tissues.

Physiotherapy is an evidence based treatment for conditions that affect the muscles, nerves, joints and associated tissues (musculoskeletal system – MSK).

Physiotherapists help to resolve pain and restore movement and function when someone is affected by injury, illness or disability through supported and well-researched manual therapy techniques, exercise, education and advice.  At the core is the patient’s involvement in their own care, through education, awareness, empowerment and participation in their treatment.

An initial appointment with one of our Physiotherapists will involve a thorough assessment and physical examination, individualised treatment and discussing a plan to help you make a full recovery and achieve your specific goals.  You will leave the appointment with your own care plan including specific exercises and advice to facilitate your recovery.

We will also explain your diagnosis and suggest other members of the multi-disciplinary team being involved in your care if indicated.  We will get you back to doing the things you love!

– Lower back pain and sciatica
